My training as a Cornell Center for Teaching Innovation Fellow has instilled in me a dedication to inclusive and innovative STEM pedagogy. Below are a couple of highlights of my previous teaching experiences.

Plant Pathology with the Cornell Prison Education Program: In Spring 2020, I served as a Teaching Assistant with the Cornell Prison Education Program (CPEP) and assisted Dr. Bill Fry with the instruction of PLSCI2275 at Auburn Correctional Facility.

Scientific Writing Course with the Cornell Knight Institute for Writing: Writing is an incredibly important skill to develop as a scientists, yet students are often left to learn how to write effectively in their disciplines on their own. With the Knight Institute, I developed my own course on scientific writing, PLSCI1107, and even had a student from my class publish their work.
